Azim Jamal is a leading inspirational speaker and an international best-selling author. He was born in Tanzania and educated in Kenya, the U.K. and Canada.

Azim holds three professional accounting and financial qualifications. He made his life-changing career switch from "accounting for business" to "accounting for life" during a soul-stirring experience while volunteering in the developing world. Overcome by the plight of homeless refugees in war-torn areas of the world, he vowed to make a difference in people's lives.

Since then, Azim has become a sought-after speaker with his dynamic, inspiring and thought-provoking message. Over one million people have heard his uplifting message in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa.

Azim has received accolades from some of the worlds leading thinkers in the field of human potential including Dr. Deepak Chopra, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Jack Canfield, Brian Tracy, marketing visionary, Seth Godin and management guru, Dr. Ken Blanchard.

Over the past 20 years, Azim has volunteered 15 hours per week in community service in his local community and overseas.

In keeping with his commitment to live a balanced life, Azim meditates regularly and is a hands-on dad, coaching his son in soccer, and supporting his teenage daughter's aptitude for business by encouraging her to assist him at work. An active sportsman, he played cricket and soccer for 20 years before retiring from league games in 1992. Azim lives with his wife, children and parents in Vancouver, Canada.
